Edgeborough Young Poets Shine in the Wonderverse Competition
As part of their English lessons, our Year 4 pupils at Edgeborough have been exploring creative writing and poetry. We’re thrilled to see their hard work pay off! Before half-term, six pupils submitted poems to the Wonderverse competition, organised by Young Writers, a national initiative that has inspired young minds for over 30 years.
A Fantastic Achievement for Year 4
We are excited to announce that all six poems have earned selection for publication. This achievement reflects the creativity, dedication, and effort shown by Year 4 pupils. 📚✨ These young poets have worked diligently to express their ideas and emotions through poetry. Their success shows how much their creativity has flourished in a supportive environment.
Celebrating Success This Friday
To celebrate their success, we will hold a special service this Friday. During the service, we will present certificates to these budding poets. Parents, look out for letters this week – we’ll be asking for your permission for this exciting next step!
A Bright Future Ahead
This recognition in the Wonderverse competition marks the start of a bright future. Edgeborough’s young poets have shown that with passion and perseverance, their creativity knows no bounds. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
Congratulations to our talented writers – you’ve made us all incredibly proud!
