Born with Down Syndrome and navigating a number of health conditions that make sport challenging, Lloyd has never let anything hold him back. With courage, optimism and an extraordinary work ethic, he has:
🏅 Become a world record holder – the youngest person with Down Syndrome to run a marathon
🏊♂️ Completed a triathlon🎖️ Collected over 300 medals
💛 Personally raised £22,000+ for charities close to his heart, including @Stepping Stones DS
📺 Helped raise £4 million through his involvement with BBC Children in Need
Our pupils were captivated by his journey and had so many brilliant questions. It was truly wonderful to have him with us, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming him back.
