Huge congratulations to Toby Roberts, Olympian and Old Edgeburian on being awarded an MBE for his services to sport climbing!
Toby won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics — an outstanding achievement and true inspiration. He first discovered his love for climbing at Edgeborough, joining the lunchtime climbing club — a chance to try something new that set him on an extraordinary path.
Toby returned to Edgeborough School just before the 2024 Olympics to visit our pupils – sharing his journey and showcasing his incredible talent. He was truly inspiring and we loved having him.
We wish Toby all the best for the future and can’t wait to see what he achieves next!
