Our brilliant Year 7 scientists took on the Wollaston Cup at Charterhouse—and what a day it was! 💥
They tackled three hands-on science challenges across the chemistry, biology and physics labs:
🧪 Chemistry: Flame tests to identify mystery chemicals
🧬 Biology: Testing “blood” and “urine” samples to crack the case of who stole the trophy 🕵️♂️
⚡ Physics: Building electrical circuits under pressure
Competing against other local schools, our pupils showed determination, curiosity and fantastic teamwork throughout the day—and we’re delighted to share that we tied for first place in the physics challenge! 🏆⚡
They were a real credit to Edgeborough, working incredibly hard and supporting one another every step of the way. We’re so proud of their collaboration, resilience and scientific thinking. The future of science is in safe hands! 🌟🔬
