Speech Day 2026 at Edgeborough School was a powerful and emotional celebration as our Year 8 pupils gathered for the final time to honour everything they’ve achieved during their years at Edgeborough Prep School. It was a day filled with pride, reflection and heartfelt moments — the perfect send‑off for our leavers as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.
We also shared warm farewells with staff and leaders who have shaped the Edgeborough experience for so many pupils. A very special tribute went to Mr Annis, who has dedicated an extraordinary 25 years to Edgeborough, leaving a legacy felt across generations. We also said a heartfelt goodbye to Jeremy McIlroy, our Chair of Governors, who stepped down to retire after years of dedicated service and unwavering support for the school community.
A highlight of the day was welcoming our inspirational guest speaker, Amanda ‘AJ’ Clark, Yeoman Serjeant of the Tower of London. Her message of courage, service and embracing new opportunities resonated deeply with pupils, parents and staff — an unforgettable moment for the Edgeborough community. A wonderful celebration of achievement, gratitude and new beginnings. Year 8, we are incredibly proud of you as you move forward with confidence, character and everything Edgeborough has helped you become.
