This week, our Year 5 pupils took part in an exciting educational visit to Arundel Castle, one of England’s most historic landmarks. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity to bring classroom learning to life as pupils explored the castle’s magnificent grounds, learned about its fascinating history, and experienced what life was like in medieval times.
Throughout the day, pupils discovered the impressive architecture of Arundel Castle, explored the gardens and towers, and heard stories of knights, royalty, and castle life. The visit supported the Year 5 history curriculum by deepening pupils’ understanding of medieval England, castles, and feudal society.
Teachers praised the pupils for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and thoughtful questions during the trip. It was a memorable experience that blended learning, adventure, and fun—helping to inspire a lifelong interest in history.
The Year 5 visit to Arundel Castle is part of our ongoing commitment to providing rich, hands-on learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
