Once Upon a Wednesday is a series of fun, welcoming sessions created especially for young children and their grown-ups.
Each week, there’s a new adventure at Edgeborough. Children might head outdoors to explore our Forest School, get moving through sport and active play, enjoy music and dancing, or discover new textures and materials through sensory and messy play.
Designed to encourage curiosity, confidence and imagination, every session gives little ones the opportunity to learn through play while enjoying quality time with their parent, grandparent or carer.
Everyone is welcome — no previous connection to Edgeborough is needed. The sessions are free of charge, but booking is essential.
All sessions are from 9.30am – 10.30am.
Edgeborough is located just outside the beautiful historic market town of Farnham. Conveniently positioned on the A287 which links Haslemere and Farnham and only 30 minutes from Godalming and Alton and 45 minutes from Guildford with London Waterloo to Farnham is less than 60 minutes. Edgeborough School retains a local feel whilst attracting pupils from further afield.

Once Upon a Wednesday is also a lovely opportunity for families to experience a little of life at Edgeborough Nursery.
Our Nursery provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, play, create and develop at their own pace. With plenty of opportunities for outdoor learning, creative activities and new experiences, we aim to help every child grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
